Reah supports businesses across a broad range of industries. The card program and banking accounts have separate eligibility requirements. Review the applicable criteria before onboarding.


Card program eligibility

Prohibited business types

Cards cannot be issued to businesses involved in:

  • Distributing illegal substances or controlled drugs without the required licenses
  • Human trafficking, prostitution, or escort services
  • Political campaign fundraising or donation platforms
  • Producing or distributing illegal digital content
  • Pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, or other deceptive practices
  • Selling counterfeit or unauthorized goods

Business types requiring enhanced review

Cards may be available following additional compliance review for:

  • Charities and non-governmental organizations
  • Cryptocurrency platforms and exchanges
  • Money service businesses and remittance services
  • Online content and creator platforms, including subscription-based streaming and tipping platforms
  • Precious metals dealers
  • Regulated gambling and fantasy sports businesses

Enhanced review may require evidence of licensing, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls. These requirements determine whether a business is eligible for the card program. Separate restrictions may apply to where a card can be used and the types of purchases that can be made.


Banking account eligibility

Banking account eligibility is assessed based on your business type, jurisdiction, and intended account activity.

Generally prohibited activities

Banking is generally not available for businesses engaged in:

  • Abusive or harmful activity, including attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to financial systems
  • Counterfeit goods or intellectual property infringement
  • Fraud, misrepresentation, or unfair, predatory, or deceptive practices
  • Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, including pseudo-pharmaceuticals and substances designed to imitate illegal drugs
  • Unauthorized, unlicensed, or undisclosed money services and money transmission
  • Unlawful activities or transactions involving unlawful proceeds
  • Unlawful gambling
  • Weapons and firearms

Business types subject to additional restrictions

The following business types may be unavailable or require additional review:

  • Adult content, adult entertainment, and sexually explicit services
  • ATM operators, including cryptocurrency ATM operators
  • Bail bonds
  • Businesses that hold or process funds for third parties, including escrow and third-party payment processing
  • Cannabis, marijuana, and related products or services
  • Chemical manufacturing, processing, formulation, distribution, or development
  • Collections agencies
  • Digital asset exchanges and virtual currency, foreign exchange, or over-the-counter (OTC) brokerage services
  • Investment, credit, lending, and banking services
  • Licensed or regulated gambling businesses
  • Metal and mineral wholesalers (excluding petroleum), and jewelry, silverware, or precious stone retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, and processors
  • Money service businesses, including check-cashing businesses, remittance services, and gift card programs
  • Multi-level marketing
  • Pharmaceutical businesses
  • Safe deposit box rentals
  • Tobacco and nicotine products

Notes and exceptions

  • Card and banking account eligibility are assessed independently. Approval for one does not guarantee eligibility for the other.
  • Business types not listed above are not automatically eligible.
  • Eligibility requirements may change.
