Summary
Transfer ownership of a Reah entity to another team member. The recipient must already be a member of the entity.
Before you start
- You must be the current Owner of the entity to initiate a transfer.
- The person you are transferring ownership to must already be a member of the entity.
- Ownership transfer is permanent until manually changed again.
Transfer entity ownership
- Click the Settings gear icon at the bottom of the left-hand navigation bar.
- Under the Entity section, select Permission Groups.
- Open the Owner permission group.
- Click Add Members and select the team member you want to make an Owner.
Once transferred, the previous Owner's access level will change. Confirm the new Owner has reviewed their responsibilities before completing the transfer.
What changes after a transfer
The new Owner gains full access across the entity, including:
- Permission management
- Entity user management
- All modules and dashboards
The previous Owner's role will be updated to the level you assign them, or they can be removed from the entity entirely if they no longer need access.
Key things to know
- Multiple team members can hold the Owner role on the same entity.
- Ownership transfer does not affect other team members' roles or access.
- If you manage multiple entities, ownership and permission groups are configured separately for each entity.
- If you need to transfer ownership but have lost access to your account, contact Reah support.
