Summary

Reah is built for businesses that need finance-grade security across both fiat and onchain operations. This article explains how Reah handles custody, wallet security, AI execution boundaries, and operational transparency so your team understands what controls are in place.

How your funds are secured on Reah

At a high level:

  • You control your funds — Reah is non-custodial
  • Nothing moves without approval — policies and multi-sig enforce control
  • Funds are never pooled — your assets are always segregated

Custody model

Reah is non-custodial by design.

  • Your assets are held in wallets you control
  • Reah cannot access, freeze, or move your funds
  • Private keys are secured using hardened infrastructure and never exposed

Unlike custodial platforms, Reah is structurally designed so it cannot take custody of your assets.

How funds move in Reah

Reah supports both fiat and crypto flows, unified into a single system:

  • Fiat can be converted into digital assets
  • Crypto can be deposited directly
  • All assets are held in your non-custodial wallets
  • Withdrawals always require explicit user action

At every step, ownership remains with you.

Control and approvals

Reah enforces strict controls over how funds can move:

  • Signer and approval rules — transactions execute based on your configured signer setup and approval requirements
  • Policy engine — define who can initiate, approve, and execute transactions, with rules based on amount, asset, or destination
  • Approval workflows — automatically route transactions to the appropriate reviewers

All fund movements require explicit authorization defined by your team configuration.

Banking and fiat layer

Reah integrates with regulated financial partners for fiat access:

  • Fiat can be converted into digital assets and routed to your wallets
  • Reah does not hold fiat balances as a custodian

Fiat acts as a bridge — not where your funds ultimately live.

Yield and treasury

You can choose to allocate funds into yield strategies:

  • Onchain (DeFi) strategies
  • Upcoming USD-based yield products
  • Reah is not a counterparty to your assets

Transparency and auditability

Reah is designed to be verifiable:

  • All actions are recorded in the unified ledger
  • Onchain activity is visible where applicable
  • No hidden balances or liabilities

👉 Every action — human or AI — is traceable.

What Reah does NOT do

  • Does not custody user funds
  • Does not pool assets
  • Does not lend user funds internally
  • Does not operate fractional reserves
  • Does not take directional risk with your assets

Regulatory notes

  • Banking products operate under standard financial institution regulatory frameworks
  • KYB/KYC verification is required for regulated banking and card products
  • Reah's compliance monitoring covers activity across the platform as part of standard financial compliance operations
  • For jurisdiction-specific details, see Supported and prohibited countries
