Last updated 5 days ago
Summary
Use this guide to withdraw fiat from Reah to an external bank account. This article explains how to send fiat from your Reah Banking Balance, how withdrawals work, and why a withdrawal may be delayed.
How fiat withdrawals work
A fiat withdrawal in Reah is an outgoing bank transfer from your Reah Banking Balance to an external bank account. Once the withdrawal is submitted and processed, the funds are sent to the destination bank account you selected in Reah. The payout currencies and rails available to you depend on your business location, account setup, and the recipient’s bank. For a complete list of supported payout currencies and rails, see Multi-currency virtual accounts and payout
Before you withdraw fiat
Before submitting a withdrawal, confirm:
- the destination bank account details are correct
- the selected payout currency and rail are supported for the recipient’s bank account
- your Reah Banking Balance is sufficient for the withdrawal
- any required approvals have been completed
- the withdrawal amount is within any applicable limits or policy requirements
How to withdraw fiat from Reah
- Start a fiat withdrawal using either of these options:
- Send: Open the Send tab and select Banking Account as the source.
- Banking: Open the Banking section and select Send.
- Select External Bank Account as the destination.

- Select the payout currency and choose a recipient.
- Choose You send or Recipient gets as the amount type, then enter the amount.
- If applicable, set the Execution Constraints for FX rate changes during approval. Select a Payment Reason and add Internal Comments if needed.

- Review the transfer details, including the recipient, transfer method, rail fee, estimated arrival time, and any processing notices. Submit the withdrawal for approval or execution.

Withdrawal timing
Processing times vary by payout rail and depend on bank processing windows, cutoff times, the receiving bank, and any required review steps. In general:
- withdrawals submitted outside bank processing windows may begin processing on the next business day
- additional review can delay when funds leave your Reah Banking Balance or arrive in the destination account
Why a withdrawal may be delayed
A fiat withdrawal may take longer if:
- recipient bank details are incorrect or incomplete
- the receiving bank is still processing the payment
- the payment was submitted after cutoff time
- the withdrawal is under review
- a required approval has not been completed
- the withdrawal exceeds a policy threshold or operational requirement
