Dispute a card transaction

Last updated 5 days ago

Summary

Use this guide when a card charge looks unauthorized, incorrect, or otherwise problematic and may need to be disputed.

When a dispute may be appropriate

  • You do not recognize the transaction
  • The merchant charged the wrong amount
  • The charge was duplicated
  • The goods or services were not delivered as expected
  • The issue could not be resolved directly with the merchant

Before you submit a dispute

Gather:

  • The transaction amount
  • The transaction date
  • The merchant name
  • Any receipts, invoices, or supporting records
  • Any notes explaining why the charge is incorrect or unauthorized

How to dispute a card transaction

At this time, disputes are handled through Reah Support.

  1. Open the relevant transaction in Reah.
  2. Confirm whether the charge is pending or fully posted.
  3. If possible, try to resolve the issue directly with the merchant first.
  4. Record the details you will need for the dispute:
    • Transaction amount
    • Transaction date and time
    • Merchant name
    • Last 4 digits of the card (if available)
    • Reason for dispute
    • Supporting documents (receipts, invoices, screenshots, and any merchant communication)
  5. Email support@reah.com with the information above and request a dispute.

Act quickly

Disputes are usually easier to handle when they are reviewed quickly. If a charge appears suspicious, do not wait longer than necessary to investigate.
