Receiving Digital Assets
To receive cryptocurrency, you must first identify the specific asset and network you wish to use.

Locate the Receive Button: Click the Receive button on your main Reah dashboard.
Select "Crypto Address": Choose the digital asset option to generate a blockchain-native address.
Identify the Asset & Wallet: Select the specific token (e.g., USDC, BTC) and the destination wallet where you want to receive the transfer.
Generate Details: Reah will automatically populate the proper public address for that asset.
QR Code: Display the QR code for your counterparty to scan directly.
Copy Address: Click to copy the alphanumeric string and share it via secure message or invoice.
Receiving USD via Bank Account
If you are receiving traditional fiat currency, you will utilize your US Virtual Account details.

Select "Bank Account": Within the Receive menu, choose the bank account option.
Identify Your Account: Select the specific virtual account you would like to receive funds into.
Share Wire/ACH Details: Reah will display your unique Account Number, Routing Number, and Reference ID.
Accounting & Reference IDs: We recommend you provide the sender with a Reference ID or Memo. While these are not required for the funds to be credited to your balance, including them ensures the transaction is automatically identified and categorized correctly within your Reah accounting dashboard.
Important Security Reminders
Network Matching: Always ensure the sender is using the same network you selected (e.g., sending USDC on Arbitrum to an Arbitrum address). Sending assets over the wrong network can lead to a permanent loss of funds.
Verify the Address: Encourage your counterparty to use the QR code whenever possible to eliminate manual entry errors.
Confirm Inbound Funds: You can monitor the status of incoming transfers in real-time. Assets will appear as "Pending" until they reach the required number of network confirmations.
Receiving Assets in Practice
Reah’s infrastructure ensures that every inbound payment—whether crypto or fiat—is captured with the metadata required for a clean, automated audit trail.
Scenario 1: Receiving Client Payments via ACH/Wire
A consulting firm sends a monthly invoice to a client and expects payment in USD.
The Process: The firm provides the client with their Reah US Virtual Account details (Account and Routing numbers).
The Result: When the client sends the Wire or ACH transfer, the funds are credited to the firm’s USD balance. Reah’s unified ledger automatically matches the inbound payment to the corresponding open invoice and categorizes the transaction in real-time. This data is then instantly synced to their accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) as a fully reconciled entry.
Scenario 2: Instant Global Settlement via USDC
A business is receiving a $15,000 payment from a customer in Argentina for professional services.
The Challenge: Because the customer lacks direct access to US Dollars and faces prohibitively high FX fees and slow settlement times through traditional banks, they choose to pay via USDC—programmable money that settles instantly.
The Process: The US business provides their USDC wallet address from the Reah dashboard.
The Result: The USDC payment settles in seconds, bypassing the legacy banking system entirely. Reah’s engine automatically identifies the sender, matches the payment to the open invoice, and categorizes the revenue within the unified USD dashboard. The business avoids manual bookkeeping as the entry syncs directly to their general ledger, showing the full value of the payment without FX deductions.
